He studied at the Faculty of Law at the University of Navarra, obtaining a law degree in 1979. He has practiced law ever since.
He was Dean of the Andorran Bar Association from 2012 to 2016.
From 2016 to 2021 he was an ombudsman at the University of Andorra.
He is a corresponding member of the Philosophy and Social Sciences Section of the Institute of Catalan Studies.
